It is recommended by the Auditor General for the Federation that:
(i) The sum of N30,668,850.00 paid for works not done should be recovered from the contractor failing which all officers that signed the valuation certificate
together with the Director PMS and MD/CEO of NDDC should be made to refund the money.
(ii) On the alternative, the outstanding balance of N11,499,043.63 due to the contractor should not be paid while the sum of N19,169,806.37 been the
difference between the value of work not done (N30,668,850.00) and the outstanding payment of N11,499,043.63 should be recovered.
Evidence of the recovery should be forwarded to the Office of the Auditor General for the Federation for verification.
