Context/Observation

Despite Audit comment in the previous report regarding the project vehicles temporarily released to the office of the Deputy Governor, it was observed that the three (3) vehicles had not been returned. However, four (4) additional vehicles were professedly released to the Ministry of Information, Teaching Service Commission and a political office holder without any documentation. It is important to note that the vehicles were not sighted at the premises of the Ministry of Education as at the time of audit exercise.
