The total sum of N8,726,167 only was deducted by the hospital as withholding tax within the period covered by the audit exercise but was not remitted to the relevant tax authority as detailed in the attachment schedule.
The management of the hospital was therefore requested to remit forthwith, a totals sum of N8,726,167 being withholding tax deducted during the period of covered by the audit exercise and forwarded documented evidence to the effect to the Auditor-General for confirmation.
