Audit observed that the company awarded six (6) contracts amounting to N91,564,782.77 between 2017 and 2018 to carry out ICT related activities, without obtaining due clearance from NITDA.
Managing Director/Chief Executive is requested to:
i.Justify the award of ICT contracts without obtaining clearance from NITDA
ii.Recover the sum of N91,564,782.77 and pay same to treasury, forwarding evidence of recovery to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
iii.Otherwise, sanctions relating to irregular or wrong payment in Financial Regulations 3106 will apply.
