It is recommended by the Auditor General for the Federation that the total sum of N89,775,000.00 paid for the 1,800 Nos. Dual School Desks/Benches that was not supplied should be recovered from the contractor in the first instance otherwise the amount should be recovered from the then Executive Director Projects, Dir/PMS and all the Engineers that signed the job valuation sheet and interim payment certificate for this contractor.
In addition, the evidence of the recovery should be forwarded to the Office of the Auditor General for the Federation for verification.
