Context/Observation

i. The Centre paid the sum of N99,200,500.00 (Ninety-nine million, two hundred
thousand five hundred naira) in favour of a firm through twenty-seven (27) payment vouchers from the Centre’s TSA CBN account in 2019.
ii. These payments were not recorded in the cash book and not entered in the Centre’s vote book.
iii. There was no tax deduction charged on these payments, and
iv. There was no evidence of contract awarded to this company and no contract file was presented to the audit even after repeated request
