It was established in audit that some governing council members of the agency received the sun of N14,800,000 as the total sitting allowance above the approved amount by His Excellency, the Governor.
The managing director of ANSIPPA was requested to submit to his office the specific approval from which he derived the authority to make such payments in defiance to the content of the extant circular. Otherwise he should discontinue forthwith the payment of excess sitting allowance and recover the total sum of N14,800,000 paid to the council members in this respect.
