Six (6) payment vouchers amounting to N20,930,000.00 paid in the name of MIFOR CONST. NIG. LTD. for the fencing of Governor’s Integrated Climate Change Action Plan for Yobe State were not attached with necessary particulars such as contractual documents, release letters and other relevant documents.
Lack of relevant supporting particulars/documents attached to payment vouchers made it difficult for audit to ascertain the validity of the transactions. Therefore, officials concerned are required to provide the supporting particulars for further examinations.
