During the period under review, it was discovered that a sum of #13,985,720.00 was lost to armed robbery attack along bank road Ado-Ekiti on 8th June, 2022. The money which was part of May 2022 running grant was meant for the running of day-to-day operations of the Deputy Governor’s Office. However, the loss was as a result of non-compliance with the extant rules and regulations as well as section 13002 of Financial Administration and Treasury Circular EKS/AG 18 VOLIX/85 of 5th May, 2021 on movement of cash in Ekiti State Public Service.
