The sum of N34,725,818.75 was purportedly paid to people to carry out capital projects and professional services during the period covered by the audit exercise without following due process.
The managing director was requested to;
i. Account properly for the total sum of N34,725,818.75 involved in the contracts with the view of establishing the appropriateness and competitiveness of the cost quoted.
ii Recover 2.5% of the sum being tax liability on the amount paid to them as State Development Tax and 5% for WTH and VAT respectively totalling N4,340,720.24.
Documented evidence of the action taken should be communicated to the Auditor-General for confirmation.
