Audit observed that some of the offices’ roofs (i.e. Permanent Secretary Office, Store, etc) in the Ministry are leaking as a result of which some financial records and Government assets like photocopiers, standing fans have been soaked due to the linking roof. Part of the store building is already dilapidated about to collapse. See the attached photographs as evidence.
Necessary measure must be put in place by the Ministry to maintain and safeguard the assets.
