it was observed that the ministry did not maintained an up-to-date contract and fixed assets registers.
Fixed Assets register must be provided to avoid pilferages or loss of assets in an organization, while contract register is required to ease the historical convention in all contractual assessment. This would further shows that officials concern are not relieve of their responsibilities until necessary books of accounts are obtain and made available for transparency and accountability in all public entities.
