i.The sum of N66,033,826 was made to two (2) contractors for the upgrade and installations of IT software at the Tribunal in the year 2018
ii.There was no clearance obtained from NITDA.
iii.There was no evidence of advertisement in two (2) national dailies and tender journals as stipulated by Financial Regulations (FR) 2922(iii).
iv.No letter of award of contract to the contractors was made available for audit teams.
The Chief Registrar is requested to:
I.Furnish the clearance obtained from NITDA for the procurement of IT Software in 2018 to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
II.Furnish evidence of newspapers advert placements in line with the provisions of FR 2922
III.Furnish evidence of the letter of award of contract to the two (2) contractors for the IT software and upgrade at the Tribunal to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly.
IV.Otherwise, sanctions relating to gross misconduct in paragraph 3129 of the Financial Regulations will apply
