Audit observed that the Institute did not submit the Audited Accounts for the 2017 financial year to the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation in line with the provision of the law. This infraction was due to the inability of the principal to take full responsibility and ownership of strictly adhering to the provisions of extant laws and regulations as they relate to the submission of financial statements to the Auditor-General for the Federation.
The Principal is required to submit the Audited Accounts for 2017 and the Domestic Report thereon in line with provision of the law, to the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly and provide copies to the OAGF.
