The audit observed that N93,732,659.00, was paid as Honorarium to officials of the University, against the Bursar’s advice. The Bursar had advised that Honorarium is paid to non-officials on professional service to the Agency.
The Vice Chancellor is required to recover the sum of N93,732,659.00 from the affected officials or be sanction in line with Financial Regulation 3115 and Public Service Rules 030301(h).
