It is recommended by the Auditor General for the Federation that:
i.The outstanding balance of N11,291,240.90 should not be paid to the contractor.
ii.The sum of N2,299,943.08 been the difference between N13,022,069.48 paid for work not done on the seven numbers Solar Powered Street Light and the outstanding balance of N11,291,240.90 less the sum of N569,114.98 provided for contingency should be recovered from the contractor, failing which the money should be recovered from the Director/PMS and all engineers that signed the valuation and interim payment certificate for this contractor to be paid.
Evidence of the recovery should be forwarded to the office of the Auditor General for the Federation for verification.
