It is recommended by the Auditor General for the Federation that:
(i) The outstanding balance of N17,637,595.25 left on the contract award sum due to the contractor should not be paid.
(ii) The total sum of N37,659,864.75 been the difference between the total sum of N55,297,460.00 established as payment for work not done and the outstanding sum of N17,637,595.25 due to the contractor should be recovered from the contractor in the first instance failing which the amount should be recovered from the Director PMS whose directorate was responsible for the raising and signing of the interim payment certificates for this contractor.
Evidence of the recovery should be forwarded to the Office of the Auditor General for the Federation for verification.
