It was observed that 3 projects (which include Wall block fencing of Lower Sharia Court Gujba at a cost of N6,475,305.00 and rehabilitation of Upper Sharia Court Babbangida at a cost of N7,319,835) seems to be awarded on high-side and lack value for money. Similarly, wall fencing of Upper Sharia Court Judges residence in Nguru at a cost of N7,844,210.00 were constructed in U shape not square as specified in the bills of preliminary estimates. However, Audit findings reveals that the cost of the project was on high side and lack economy, efficiency and effectiveness. It was also observed that most of the payment vouchers did not pass-through internal audit tests.
