It was observed during audit that equipment fees collected within the periods under review was not accounted for by the principals and bursars. Audit suspects that the fees were pocketed by the principals and bursars and not lodged into government coffers.
Audit directed that the principals and bursars for the periods under review should account for the fees failing which it should be recovered and evidence of recovery forwarded to the Auditor-General for verification.
