Audit observed that fifteen payments in the sum of N5,764,000.00 was spent on sponsorship of courses organised by various professional bodies between May 2016 and August 2017, in violation of the above circular.
The Director-General is required to recover the sum of N5,764,000.00 from the beneficiaries and pay same to the government coffers, otherwise, sanction in line with FR 3106.
