I.The sum of N2,654,500.00 was paid to an officer for fuelling of eighty (80) official vehicles used by the compliance team for the period May to July, 2017, vide Payment Voucher No. 0206 of 15 September, instead of the fuel station where the fuel was purported to have been purchased.
II.The transaction could not be traced to the fuel station, as the address did not reflect on the receipts.
The Comptroller-General NCS is requested to:
I.Account for the sum of N2,654,500.00 paid for fuelling of eighty (80) official vehicles used by the compliance team
II.Otherwise, sanction relating to irregular or wrong payment in paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations should apply.
