Audit observed that:
i. The sum of £17,000.00 (Seventeen thousand pounds) was paid for the issuance of Corporate Card by a Bank in the UK to be managed by the GM-overseas Representative.
ii. The above amount was paid through PV number 10690 of 6th December, 2016 in favour of the Bank corporate card with the name of an officer vide cheque no 31/0842 issued on 6th December, 2016, and
iii. The amount was transferred for the issuance of Corporate Card to be managed by the GM-overseas Representative but remained unretired as at the time of the audit in November, 2018.
The Managing Director is requested to:
i. Account for the sum of £17,000.00 (Seventeen thousand pounds), and
ii. Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to failure to collect and account for Government Revenue in paragraph 3112 of the Financial Regulations
