A total of N771,173,349.91 was reported as internally generated revenue (IGR) in 2018, and A total of N768,314,225.38 was however recorded in the cash book as IGR for the same period, resulting in an under-stated sum of N2,859,124.53.
The Registrar is requested to:
I.Furnish reasons why internally generated revenue was not remitted as required by extant regulations.
II.Recover the under reported revenue of N2,859,124.53
III.Remit same amount to the Treasury.
IV. Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly.
V.Otherwise, sanctions relating to surcharge and transfer to another schedule specified in paragraphs 3112 of the Financial Regulations will apply.
