I.The Authority generated a sum of N18,339,549,000.00 as Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in 2018.
II.25% of the IGR which amounted to N4,584,887,250.00 was expected to have been remitted to the Treasury.
III.The sum of N1,600,000,000.00 was remitted, thereby resulting to under-remittance of N2,984,887,250.00.
The Director-General is requested to:
I.Provide reasons why 25% of IGR was not remitted to the Treasury as required by extant regulations.
II.Remit the sum of N2,984,887,250.00 being the under remittance of 25% of IGR for 2018 to the Treasury.
III.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
IV.Otherwise, sanctions relating to failure to collect and account for Government Revenue specified in paragraph 3112 of the Financial Regulations will apply.
