i.The sum of N159,870,465.71 was paid in 2018 and 2019 for procurements, consultancy services, etc. through twenty-seven (27) payment vouchers
ii.Relevant supporting documents such as receipts, Job Completion Certificates, SRVs etc. were not attached to the Payment vouchers.
The Director-General is requested to:
I.Provide reasons why relevant supporting documents were not attached to payment vouchers before payments.
II.Account for the sum of N159,870,465.71 and
III.Remit the same sum to the Treasury
IV.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
V.Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to irregular payment prescribed by paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations.
