I.Twenty-nine (29) payment vouchers amounting to N3,184,005.00 were raised and paid between November and December 2018.
II.None of the payment vouchers was pre-audited or checked by the Internal Audit Department of the Park as required by extant regulations.
The Director-General is requested to:
I.Furnish reasons why payments were made without internal audit checks/passage.
II.Account for the sum of N3,184,005.00 and
III.Remit the same sum to the Treasury.
IV.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly for verification.
V.Otherwise, sanctions relating to irregular payments stated in paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations will apply.
