1. The Centre paid a total of N2,848,761.58 (Two million, eight hundred and forty-eight thousand, seven hundred- and sixty-one-naira, fifty-eight kobo) as Acting Allowances in 2018 to Regular Staff,
2. The benefited Regular Staff were also being paid on the IPPIS platform.The above anomalies could be attributed to weaknesses in the internal control system at the Federal Medical Centre Owo.
1. Furnish reasons why staff who were receiving salaries through IPPIS platform were paid acting allowances.
2. Remit N2,848,761.58 (Two million, eight hundred and forty-eight thousand, seven hundred- and sixty-one-naira, fifty-eight kobo) to the Treasury.
3. Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly, and
4. Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to irregular payment prescribed by paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations
