1.The Management of DPR has not taken appropriate measures to transform it to a full fledge Parastatal despite meeting all criteria for a Parastatal/Self Accountingg Unit, including a functional Internal Audit fully manned by staff of the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, contrary to the extant circulars and regulations.
2. DPR remits Operating Surplus to CRF annually as a Parastatal just like any other Government Agency in accordance with Section 22 of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2007,
3. The nomenclature for DPR, the Accounting Officer and other Heads of function alarms of DPR are fraught with incongruity. For instance, the Head of DPR is still being referred to as a director instead of Managing Director, or Director-General, or Executive Secretary, while Head of each functional arm of DPR is referred to as a Deputy Director instead of a director.
