i. There were several transfers made by the Centre to the tune of N2,837,097,072.36 (Two billion, eight hundred and thirty-seven million, ninety seven thousand- and seventy-two-naira, thirty-six kobo) from GIFMIS to TSA, and
ii. These funds received by the Centre for non regular allowance and other purposes were not properly accounted for.
The Chief Medical Director is requested to:
i.Justify the utilization of these funds.
ii.Account for the sum of 2,837,097,072.36 or recover and remit to treasury the sum of 2,837,097,072.36.
iii.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly, and
iv.Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to failure to account for government revenue stated in paragraph 3112 of the Financial Regulations.
