1.The 2019 1st quarter releases totalling N7,737,208,135.18 (Seven billion, seven hundred and thirty-seven million two hundred and eight thousand, one hundred- and thirty-five-naira eighteen kobo) was used to pay for the Ministry’s traditional capital projects of the previous year (2018).
2.The 2018 Capital Project appropriation of the Ministry was duly funded and released in the year,
3.There were no acceptable justifications for utilizing 2019 1st quarter capital release to pay for 2018 projects.
1.Furnish reasons for paying for project fully funded in 2018 from 2019 releases.
2.Recover the sum of N7,737,208,135.18 (Seven billion, seven hundred and thirty-seven million two hundred and eight thousand, one hundred- and thirty-five-naira eighteen kobo) and remit same to the Treasury.
3.Forward evidence of refund to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly,
4.Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to irregular payment specified in paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations.
