Context/Observation

Audit observed that ₦23,948,800.00 was expended on the review and examination of Capital Expenditure Pattern in all departments and Agencies of the Ministry. However, there was no provision for the expenditure in the 2018 Appropriation Act.This is due to the failure of the Permanent Secretary to adhere to the extant regulations.
