I.Five (5) payments amounting to N26,892,979.35 were made from Allocation for Personnel Cost
II.The above payments were for items of expenditure that were not related to the Personnel Cost.
The comptroller General is requested to:
I.Provide reasons why payments for items not related to personnel were made from allocation for personnel cost.
II.Recover the sum of N26,892,979.35 and remit same to the Treasury.
III.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
IV.Otherwise, sanctions relating to irregular payments specified in paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations should apply.
