Legislative Recommendation

The Inspector-General of Police is requested to:
1. Furnish reasons why contracts were awarded to companies owned by same persons.
2.Account for the sum of N1,136,715,200.00 (One billion, one hundred and thirty-six million, seven hundred and fifteen thousand, two hundred naira).
3. Remit the sum of N1,136,715,200.00 to the Treasury.
4.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly, and
5. Otherwise, apply sanctions relating to irregular award of contract and punishment for contravening any of the offences in the Public Procurement Act and in paragraphs 3117 and 3126 of the Financial Regulations respectively
