Fourteen (14) Payments amounting to N2,892,200.00 were made to beneficiaries who were not in the employment of the Commission in contravention of the circular stated above;
The Executive Secretary is requested to:
i.Recover the sum of N2,892,200.00 and pay back to Treasury, forwarding evidence of payment to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
ii.Otherwise, sanction relating to irregular or wrong payment in paragraph 3106 of the Financial Regulations will apply.
