Context/Observation

I.The active directory of government officers was not designed to automatically modify or remove officers as they exit an MDA by retirement, study/sabbatical leave, decease, or transfer to other MDAs
II.Removal of personnel directory was done manually through correspondence between the MDA requesting the OAGF to remove affected officers from the system which could take weeks or months in most cases.
III. Delay in the modification process could lead to an officer receiving payments after they have exited the service or moved to another MDA.

The Accountant General of the Federation is requested to:
I.Automate the personnel directory modification process by designing and implementing an automated process that will prompt deactivation of personnel directory when they exit the service temporary or permanently.
II.Apply sanctions relating to gross misconduct specified in paragraph 3129 of the Financial Regulations.
