i.There is no established and functional BCP/DRP for the IPPIS and
ii.There is no inventory of IT Assets and Risk Assessment was not carried out, to identify threats and evaluate associated risks for the IT Assets.
The IPPIS Steering Committee Chairperson should ensure that:
i.Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are developed for the IPPIS in the immediate Short-Term
ii. The ISO 22301 standard on Business Continuity Management should be adopted in conducting a comprehensive gap assessment and implementing the corrective actions that arise from the assessment.
iii. These plans should be tested immediately afterwards; and iv. Apply sanctions relating to gross misconduct specified in paragraph 3129 of the Financial Regulations (FR).
