The Comptroller-General is hereby requested to:
I.Furnish reasons why oversea trips of staff of Ministry of Interior were paid by NIS.
II.Recover the sum of N7,557,813.00 and remit same to the Treasury.
III.Forward evidence of remittance to the Public Accounts Committees of the National Assembly
IV.Otherwise, sanctions relating to irregular payment and failure to manage public funds effectively specified in paragraphs 3106 and 3115 of the Financial Regulations respectively will apply.
