Audit observed that amounts totalling N115,970,941.87 were paid to some contractors for consultancy services. However, Job Completion Certificates and other relevant documents to prove that the services were actually rendered were not presented for audit.
The Director-General is required to produce satisfactory evidence of job completion and reports, else the sum of N115,970,941.87 should be recovered from the Consultants and paid back to government coffers. In addition, sanction within FR 3104 should apply.
