The following recommendations are made:-
(i) The sum of N26,531,454.29 should be recovered from the first contractor (M/s Transeas Investment Ltd) for payment in respect of work not done, failing which the amount should be recovered from the Director of Project Monitoring Department for signing a misleading valuation certificate.
(ii) Entire value of the second contract (i.e. N79,165,873.00) should be recovered from the Managing Director for payment of a contract that was not executed.
Outcome shoud be communicated to the Office of the Auditor General for the Federation.
