Context/Observation

It is recommended by the Auditor General for the Federation that the total sum of N15,094,339.60 paid for the eight numbers of solar powered street light not supplied and installed should be recovered from the contractor in the first instance failing which the AD/PMS Akwa Ibom State and the Stated Director that certified the work completed and signed the valuation and interim payment certificate for
this contractor to be paid should be made to refund same back to the cofers of the Commission.
Evidence of the recovery should be forwarded he Office of the Auditor General for the Federation for verification.
