I will be looking for a new trading platform if the customer service doesn’t notably improve. I have been using IG for trading. I found it helpful when I had trouble signing into my Account; The support team was so helpful and friendly. The platforms are easy to use and provide transparent information.

After 15 mins playing with it I decided it was not for me sadly. Brainless, thoughtless and unresponsive customer service. Creates obstacles where there shouldn’t be. I generally like the breadth of security instruments the platform offers. But their customer service is absolute garbage.

• I’ve been with IG a quarter of a century, but since they made my account manager redundant (& many more, without even informing clients), it’s become very difficult to get any kind of personal service.

The assistant was extremely helpful. But it took over 15 minutes for the call to be answered. Companies on Trustpilot aren’t allowed to offer incentives or pay to hide reviews.

Relatively new to the site and not impressed so far at all. The query that I contacted the customer support team with about two weeks ago via the WhatsApp chat has been ignored, and ig group review I am unable to get through via the helpline number. MISLEADING COMPANY – AVOID

The ‘chatbot’ route seems to actually connect to a real person but only after 1-2 hours waiting. This led to the problem being solved. I have heard noting from them, been waiting 45 minutes for a support chat. The risks of loss from investing in CFDs can be substantial and the value of your investments may fluctuate. 71% of retail client accounts lose money when trading CFDs, with this investment provider.

You pray you don’t need to get in contact with them (which is very seldom) as it is real pain to do small things being requested. IG continue to provide the best support and best platform. The links to ProReal and other services are great.
