Context/Observation

It was observed that in payment numbers 25 and 27 dated 13/11/19 and 21/11/19 for the sum of N234,000 and N423,000 respectively were advanced to the General Manager for the purchase of waste bins without any receipt attached to the payment vouchers and there was no other evidence to support the actual purchase of the bins. All efforts made to get the attention of the general manager for proper explanation on this proved abortive as she was said to be too busy.
