    PLSI through its value for money platform held a press conference on the State of Public Audit in Nigeria on 15th October, 2020 where the significance of a new audit bill was highlighted. PLSI’s executive director observed that “there is the need to empower the office of the Auditor-General of the Federation to play a more effective role in ensuring that public funds begin to work for citizens”.

    The discussion rich and enlightening on the contributions towards the previous federal Audit Bill . There is the need to institutionalise the office of the Auditor-General of the federation.
