The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s approved budget for 2019 was N184.5bn. For that fiscal year, the FGN released N108.4bn to the ministry. However, N60.8bn (56.07% of the total funds released in 2019) was not accounted for. We urge the PAC of the National Assembly to review and make recommendations to address public finance management gaps in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development & anti-corruption agencies to investigate & recover the unaccounted sum of N60.8bn. -
