The FGN released N13.1bn to Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority, Owerri in 2019 fiscal year; 52.3% of its total approved budget (N25.1bn). Analysis of #2019AuditReport revealed that the Authority could not account for N5.9bn of funds released. We urge the PAC of the National Assembly to review and make recommendations to address public finance management gaps in Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority & anti-corruption agencies to investigate & recover the unaccounted sum of N5.9bn. -
